This online event, zoom meeting will give the pharmacy students and pharmacists a chance to explore the career opportunities across the globe and fulfill their dream. Pharmacy profession has been continuously evolving and pharmacists are placed in a much more valuable position than ever before. There are plenty of opportunities for pharmacists in retail, hospital and pharmaceutical industry to name a few.

Question is are you aware of those opportunities and are you prepared? What it takes to get your dream job?

The speaker will talk about how to become a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and other parts of the world where the pharmacist licensing process is strict and takes several steps before becoming a pharmacist. He will cover the challenges and setbacks along the way. The speaker will also discuss about the career opportunities in academic, pharmaceutical industry, visa, immigration and permanent residency opportunities for pharmacists. There will be setbacks that are inevitable when you do not want to settle for less. However with careful planning one could overcome those setbacks

This session also covers about the skills required to become a successful overseas registered pharmacist. It will give current and future expectations, competencies of the pharmacists providing pharmaceutical care.

For those who would like to be their own boss, the speaker will discuss about the Business and entrepreneurship opportunities for pharmacists. The speaker will also talk about what it takes to achieve a dream.

• Working as pharmacist for Walgreens pharmacy in USA

• Prior to this job worked as a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Pharmacy and Save Mart pharmacies for several years in the USA

• Research assistant at University of Sunderland, UK

• Lecturer at G.Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad, India

• Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in USA

• Board certified medical affairs specialist (BCMAS)

• Doctoral research studies from University of Sunderland, UK

• Immunization Pharmacist certificate program
